Wendy
- If you found a wallet on the street would you keep it, contact the owner or give it to the police?
- I think I’d probably give it to the police.
- For $5 million would you test a drug?
- No
- Would you lie in court?
- No
- Would you kill a person, if it were a dangerous terrorist?
- No
- Would you give part of your body to someone, like a finger or a kidney?
- It would depend on the circumstances, but probably yes.
- Would you marry an ugly man who was twenty or thirty years older than you, and who you got on well with and liked?
- Nn….not if I wasn’t in love with them. I would have to be in love with somebody to marry them.
- Would you live and work in another country for ten years without seeing your family or friends?
- No, I’m a real family person I’d have to…no, I couldn’t do that!
- What’s your opinion of money, do you think it’s the world’s disease or the new religion or something else?
- Probably the world’s disease I would think, …erm…I don’t do too badly for myself, erm..but it’s not the be all and end all of my life certainly,…erm…and if some of what I’ve got can help other people, then I will generally try and do what I can to help. But I think people obsess about money too much.
- Someone at work asks you to lend them ten Euros. Would you refuse and make a polite excuse, lend them the ten Euros or lend them fifty Euros because there’s a bigger chance they’ll pay you back?
- I’d lend them the ten Euros.
- And after one week they haven’t paid you back the ten Euros. What would you say?
- I’d politely remind them about it, and ask them when they might be in a position to pay me back.

- If you found a wallet on the street, would you keep it, contact the owner or give it to the police?
- Give it to the police.
- And if it had 50,000 Euros inside?
- I’d look at it carefully but then give it to the police.
- For $5 million would you test a drug, a pharmaceutical drug?
- Depending on the circumstances, possibly.
- Would you lie in court?
- No
- Would you kill a person, like a dangerous terrorist for instance?
- If it was a dangerous terrorist, possibly, but if it was an innocent person no, definitely not.
- Would you give part of your body to someone, like a finger or a hand or a kidney?
- Probably not.
- Would you marry an ugly woman who was twenty or thirty years older who you got on well with and liked, but who you didn’t love?
- Yes, because the money could pay for plastic surgery.
- Would you live and work in another country for ten years without seeing your family or friends?
- Well yes, as long as they could come and visit me.
- What’s your opinion of money, is it the world’s disease or the new religion?
- Neither. I..I disagree with both of those statements.
- Someone at work asks you to lend them ten Euros. Would you refuse and make a polite excuse, lend them the ten Euros or lend them fifty Euros because there’s a bigger chance they’ll pay you back?
- I’d lend them the ten Euros.
- And after a week they haven’t paid you back the ten Euros. What would you say?
- Oi! I lent you ten Euros last week, give it back!
- And what if it was a book or a CD?
- Oi! I lent you a book or a CD, give it back!
