Read the text below and look carefully at each line. Some of the lines are
correct, and some have a word which should not be there.
If the line is correct, put a tick
at the end of the line. If a
line has a word which should not be there, write the extra word at the end of
the line. There are two examples at the beginning (0 and 00)
Remember to read the text quickly first before you start looking for words. (Time limit – 12-13 minutes)

| 11 | were all too drunk to drive and so that we decided to leave the car in | ||||
| 12 | the car park. We asked of a waiter to call a taxi. While we were waiting, | ||||
| 13 | I decided to dance in a water fountain which was outside the club. We | ||||
| 14 | did not get back our home until very late. I was wet, tired and very | ||||
| 15 | happy, but I had made a big surprise when I looked in my empty wallet! |
