The following verbs and nouns can all be used to describe trends. Complete the table with the missing verbs and nouns.

Now write the words in the correct group. Follow the examples:

Remember that an adverb (Example: gradually) modifies a verb (Example: stabilise) and an adjective (Example: gradual) modifies a noun (Example: stabilization)

Here is a list of adjectives which can be used to describe change. Some describe a big or fast change, and some describe a small or slow change. Write them in the correct group. Follow the example.
